Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine & Obesity Medicine

Dr. Seogeun Naomi Hong, M.D.

Dr. Hong began her medical education at Dongguk University School of Medicine in South Korea, then continued on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine. It was there that she developed a passion in caring for the elderly and aging and decided to further her medical education by completing a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine in 2015.

Since completing her fellowship, Dr. Hong has been working as a Primary Care Physician in the Southern California area. She believes in empowering her patients to make the best, most informed medical decisions about their health in a personalized and thoughtful way. In addition to completing the necessary tests to properly diagnose a patient, Dr. Hong will dive deeper and determine if there are any lifestyle changes or stressors in life that can be contributing to a patient’s health issues. Overall, Dr. Hong looks to support her patients to lead happier, healthier lives through a comprehensive approach.

Dr. Hong is bilingual in English and Korean. She believes it is never too late to try something new! With that attitude in mind, in her free time she loves to play the violin which she started only 2 years ago.
